Our Mission

African Aerospace, through its publications and events, aims to deliver news, share information & create networking opportunities for its readers and wider audience.


Our Team

Aviation Africa is organised by the combined talent and experience of Times Aerospace Events - publishers of renowned publications including Arabian Aerospace and African Aerospace, with Aerocomm Ltd - Editor-in-Chief of the afore mentioned publications and regular Conference Chairman and Access Group - experienced event organisers of shows inlcuding the Dubai Airshow

and Asian Aerospace. 


Combining the contacts, reputation and skills of the three partners ensures we deliver events that are of a high quality, have serious content and are well attended.  The team successfully organised the first Aviation Africa which took place in Dubai in May 2015 with the second held in Kigali 2017.



Alan Peaford MBE - Aerocomm Ltd

Alan Peaford is a former senior editor of the Arab Times in Kuwait and the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain, and is currently Editor-in-Chief of Arabian Aerospace (www.arabianaerospace.aero)

and ADS Advance (www.adsadvance.co.uk).


He edited Flight International’s Flight Daily News for 17 years and has won an

Aerospace Journalist of the Year award on five occasions.

He is the author of a best selling guide to business aircraft and has written for many newspapers,

trade magazines and corporate publications around the world. He is regularly featured on BBC World and Al Jazeera TV and is immediate past president of the UK's Institute of Internal Communicatons, and is a former president and winner of a diploma of honour by the Federation of European Editors and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts and a private pilot.

Mark Brown - TIMES Aerospace Ltd

Mark Brown is a director of the TIMES Group, a publishing and event company, publications include Arabian Aerospace and African Aerospace magazines. 


Mark has a passion for aerospace which has seen him take a hands-on role as publisher of the magazines and the other services that run alongside the titles.

Alison Weller - Access Group

As the Managing Director of F&E Aerospace, Alison Weller was instrumental in developing F&E’s expanding event portfolio including the rapid rise of the Dubai Airshow.


She also launched 4 other events which included MEBA - Middle East Business Aviation which grew to be the 3rd largest event of its kind in the world.  Alison has over 20 years’ experience in the aerospace industry, prior to joining F&E, she was Business Manager for The Flight Group.  Previous to that she spent 7 years with the Shephard Group as Exhibitions and Advertising manager across the defence publications and events. She is now co-owner and co-founder of Access Group.

Clive Richardson - Access Group

Clive started his aviation career in 1983 with Flight International where he worked in various roles before joining Reed Exhibitions in 1993. 


At Reed Exhibitions Clive  joined the Asian Aerospace exhibition management team and helped build the show into a global aerospace event. From there he moved to F&E, organisers of the world-class Dubai Airshow to run the aerospace portfolio. 


More recently, he took on the challenge of moving and re-launching Asian Aerospace in Hong Kong. Clive re-joined F&E to take on the role of CEO for the entire F&E Group, running the company’s activities across all their shows.  He is now co-owner and co-founder of Access Group.
