Since January 2018, visitors from all countries are now eligible for a visa on arrival.
(However, if travelling from an area affected by Yellow Fever please read below.)
Citizens of Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa countries (COMESA) that are not visa exempt, receive visas valid for 90 days while countries’ nationals are granted visas valid for 30 days.Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Rwanda. You’ll need one blank page on your passport for entry stamps.
30 day visas costs approx. $30 and can be paid in cash (US dollars or Rwandan francs) or by Visa/Mastercard. A visa can also be bought online ahead of travel (this must be completed at least 72 hours in advance of arrival).
With its visa friendly policy, Rwanda is a perfect venue to host Aviation Africa.
Countries affected by Yellow Fever; all attendees must bring their certificate of inoculation, otherwise a further vaccination will be injected upon arrival, possibly at additional cost. Further information available here.
